Medical Assistant

We are seeking compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide virtual healthcare services to patients, offering support, consultation, and care coordination through telecommunication platforms. You will ensure patients receive timely, accurate, and high-quality care while maintaining compliance with medical standards and privacy regulations.

Work Schedule: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern Time

• Support healthcare providers by handling both administrative and clinical duties
• Respond to patient portal messages related to medication side effects and usage
• Assist with basic nursing triage and patient inquiries
• Provide support to ensure smooth patient communication and care coordination
• Respond to patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy, ensuring excellent patient experience
• Adhere to HIPAA and all relevant healthcare privacy and safety regulations

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a professional setting
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional remote work environment
• Strong organizational, research, and administrative skills
• Experience managing calendars and scheduling across multiple time zones
• Familiarity with Google Workspace (GSuite) tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, Gmail, Calendar)
• High emotional intelligence, maturity, and demonstrated business acumen
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Comfort asking supervisors for clarity, deadlines, and priority-setting when not explicitly communicated
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Teams)

• Licensed healthcare professional (RN, LVN, MA)
• Valid state licensure and ability to practice telehealth in assigned regions
• Prior experience in telemedicine, clinical practice, or patient care strongly preferred
• Strong communication and active listening skills, with the ability to explain medical terms clearly to patients
• Proficiency with telehealth platforms, EHR systems, and digital communication tools
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote healthcare team
• Demonstrated empathy, professionalism, and patient-centered approach
