Job Description

Schedule:

Shift: Day, 5x8-hour shifts (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM), Monday through Friday

Duration: 14 weeks

Responsibilities:

Front office registration duties, including patient check-in/check-out

Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors

Work within the NextGen documentation system for administrative tasks

Support day-to-day operations of the family practice clinic

Requirements

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a medical assistant role (front office experience preferred)

Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required

Familiarity with NextGen documentation system and Greater Newport Physicians preferred

Bilingual skills are a plus

Requirements:

Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)

COVID-19 vaccine not required

Benefits

Compensation:

$23.00/hour

Overtime: After 12 hours/day and 60 hours/week
