Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team. This is a full-time on-site position located in Sidney, OH. This role is responsible for machine installation, maintenance, and repair to ensure optimal performance and safety. The ideal candidate must have a valid welding license and have experience in mechanical troubleshooting and equipment servicing.

Key Responsibilities?

Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and machinery according to specifications.

Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals for machine setup and repairs.

Utilize welding skills to fabricate, modify, or repair machine components as needed.

Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify issues and implement effective solutions.

Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and company standards.

Maintain accurate maintenance records and report equipment conditions to management.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills?

High school diploma or equivalent; a technical certification or associate degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred.

Proven experience in mechanical installation, maintenance, and repair.

A valid welding license is a must.

Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and manuals.

Hands-on experience with power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic instruments.

Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments.
