Mechanic

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Diagnose, repair and maintain fire apparatus and emergency vehicles. Perform skilled work in maintaining automotive, medium and heavy duty trucks, to include all Fire Division and Rescue (EMS) Division vehicles, including small gas engines and other associated equipment.

Requirements

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Self-starter with positive can do attitude

Knowledge of Diesel engines preferred

Valid class CDL B drivers license with Air Brakes or willingness to obtain within the first year

Knowledge of up-to-date methods of maintaining autos, trucks and emergency vehicles preferred

ASE and/or EVT certifications a plus

This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday 7:30-4:00.

Starting rate $20-35/hr depending on experience and certifications
