Our client, a reputable automotive service provider, is seeking a Mechanic Assistant to join their team.
As a Mechanic Assistant, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting skilled mechanics. The ideal candidate will have a willingness to learn, strong attention to detail, and good communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Mechanic Assistant
Location: Middletown, NY
Pay Range:
$22 per hour
Shift:
Monday-Friday 10:00am-6:00pm
What's the Job?
Assist senior mechanics with truck maintenance jobs, including oil changes and brake pad replacements.
Support during more complicated repair jobs to ensure efficient workflow.
Perform tire changes and tune-ups as needed.
Utilize hand and power tools effectively to complete assigned tasks.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
What's Needed?
High School Diploma or GED.
Completion of an Auto Repair Program preferred but not mandatory.
Experience with hand and power tools.
Familiarity with both gasoline and diesel equipment.
A strong desire to learn and grow in the automotive field.
