What the role entails

  • Create material schedules for the factories based on capacity and production forecasts
  • Analyze issues causing reduced capacity and re-planning to reduce the inefficiencies or partnering with production to improve output
  • Monitor and communicate with purchasing when materials will impact production
  • Monitor inventory trends and re-plan schedules accordingly to achieve targeted inventory levels

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Supply chain training, including higher learning courses or certifications
  • 1-3 experience in supply chain capacity or similar role.

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Experience in planning, logistics process and quality in a high-volume environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
  • Strong organizational skills
