Job Description

Parallel Employment is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team. In this Material Handler role, you will be responsible for the efficient handling of materials in a warehouse or manufacturing setting. Your primary duties will include receiving, inspecting, and organizing inventory, operating warehouse equipment, and ensuring that materials are prepared for production or shipment.

Material Handler Hours: Monday-Friday 3:30p-12:00am

Material Handler Wage: $18..00-$20.00 depending on experience

Key Material Handler Responsibilities:

Receive and inspect incoming materials for quality and accuracy.
Organize and store materials in designated areas.
Pick and prepare materials for production according to specifications.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
Assist in inventory management and cycle counting as required.
Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.

Requirements

Material Handler Requirements:

Previous experience in warehouse or material handling roles preferred.
Forklift certification is a plus.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Basic math skills for inventory management.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Bilingual a plus!
