Material Associate

Our client, a leading distribution and warehouse company, is seeking a Material Associate to join their team. As a Material Associate, you will be part of the logistics department supporting the operational team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Associate

Location: Visalia, CA

What's the Job?

Load and unload freight efficiently and safely.

Utilize scanners and computer systems to put products away and manage inventory.

Operate powered industrial trucks and narrow aisle machines to select and store materials.

Prepare materials for shipment while ensuring compliance with hazardous materials regulations.

Assist with training new employees and troubleshoot systems issues as needed.

What's Needed?

Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written English.

Experience with shipping regulations and hazardous materials is preferred.

High School Diploma, GED, or HSED required.

One year of relevant work experience is preferred.

Capability to lift and move up to 60 pounds unassisted.
