At Performance Optimal Health, we are looking for a few truly dedicated individuals for full time positions, who are willing to travel to our multiple locations in Fairfield county. Additionally, we have some part time positions available as well. Both full and part time candidates should be either knowledgable and or open, eager and willing to learn.

A great candidate is open and curious. In the massage arm of POH we think of ourselves as being a spa within a clinic. The work we do here as massage therapist is deeply connected with that of our fitness trainers, Pilates teachers, physical therapists, health counselors etc. We are a team and as such, we huddle. We communicate consistently with one another if an effort to help our client Get Well and Stay Well!

Key Areas of Ownership

Must maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Responsible to communicate and transcribe all information regarding client's history and massage therapy services performed.

Educate clients on how massage can benefit their overall optimal health and make recommendations to engage in other services to benefit their optimal health and to reach their health goals.

Ability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Responsible to communicate with fellow providers to ensure full circle, team approach to wellness and client care.

Requirements

Associate degree or certification equivalent.

Florida state license in Massage Therapy and accreditation by the Commission on Massage Therapy (COMPTA).

2+ years of experience as a massage therapist (preferred).

Ability to travel between several Florida Performance locations.
