We have a current opening for an Intern - Marketing in Sacramento, CA

Summary:

Are you results-oriented, resourceful, and creative? Do you have excellent organization, structure, and writing skills?The Marketing Intern will assist with multiple responsibilities of the Marketing Team. Key responsibilities include bid support, design assistance, creation of written materials (proposals, presentations, and collateral).

Intern learning outcomes:

• Develop and implement organizational skills
• Gain knowledge of internal and external construction marketing process
• Improve communication skills; verbal and written
• Hone project skills
• Analyze processes and communicate findings and recommendations
• Enhance MS Suite, Illustrator, Teams, Forms, and OneNote skills

What your duties and responsibilities consist of:

• Assists with graphic design for company events including flyers, invitations, social media posts
• Produces and distributes effective promotional and collateral marketing materials
• Coordinates, attends, and contributes to marketing meetings with respective teams
• Develops written materials including brochures, project lists, data sheets and resumes, performing functions within CRM databases and/or collaborating with department champions to obtain info
• Creates and maintains marketing graphics in Adobe Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator or PowerPoint
• Collaborate with Mktg Mgr. to finalize design mock-ups in Illustrator
• Photo bank development, including photo tagging
• Research assignments requiring diligent documentation
• Executes additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

Who we are looking for:

• Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to build and maintain effective interpersonal relationships is required

• Knowledge of graphic design principles is required

• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to frequent change, delays or unexpected events is required

• Ability to demonstrate the competencies of achieving results, initiative, communication, and teamwork is required

• Proficiency in MS Office, WordPress as well as creative software such as Adobe Premiere, Lightroom Classic, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Editorial mindset with an ability to predict audience preferences
• Project management skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and writing skills in English

Salary Range:

• $21.00 - $25.00
