Market Engagement Consultant

Resource Innovations is seekinga Market Engagement Consultant to join our growing team in Illinois. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Market Engagement Consultant with a strong background in project management to join our dynamic team. As an/a Market Engagement Consultant you will support a large electrification serving customers in Northern Illinois.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Support Program Managers in project development, tracking and analysis, and management of energy efficiency projects.
• Identify and escalate issues as appropriate and recommend strategies to address issues.
• Provide general administrative support to the project teams.

• Function as a cooperative and cohesive member of project teams.
• Demonstrate a willingness to play a variety of roles (e.g., administrative, quality assurance, research, writing) as required to achieve project/task success.
• Technical experience with energy efficiency, HVAC, energy efficiency audits or related technologies
• Complete assignments on schedule and within the allotted budget or hours.
• Successfully and independently track and performs small tasks within a project or program.
• Track multiple task or project deadlines and alerts manager in advance of conflicts.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• B.S. or B.A. preferred - energy, environment, public policy, or technical field desired
• 3+ years work experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Experience with CRM software preferred
• Highly motivated and positive attitude
• Superior organization and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Flexibility to work with a variety of team members and dynamic project demands
• Interest or experience in a field related to energy, HVAC technology, or sustainability
• Experience troubleshooting problems and recommending solutions
• Ability to identify process improvements and communicate plans for improvement

The compensation range for this position is $50,202 - $75,303. The stated range is based on a good faith estimate of the compensation range for the duties, responsibilities and skills / experience required for the position. Starting pay will be dependent on experience and internal equity. This range may be exceeded for well-qualified candidates, especially with industry experience.

Employment with Resource Innovations is contingent upon the successful completion of a comprehensive background check and reference check. If applicable to the position, a pre-employment drug screen may also be required.
