Manual Test Engineer

Staff4Me is currently seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Manual Test Engineer to join our team. As a Manual Test Engineer, you will be responsible for executing test cases and conducting manual testing to ensure the quality and functionality of our software applications. You will collaborate closely with the development team to identify and report defects, as well as contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes.

• Design and execute manual test cases to validate software functionality.
• Document and analyze test results, and report and track defects using bug tracking systems.
• Collaborate with the development team to reproduce and troubleshoot reported defects.
• Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Conduct functional, regression, and system testing to ensure software quality.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, best practices, and technologies in manual testing.
• Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Manual Test Engineer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience in creating and executing manual test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
• Hands-on experience with bug tracking systems and test management tools.
• Experience in functional, regression, and system testing.
• Knowledge of SQL and ability to write complex queries to analyze databases.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
