Our Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting a variety of equipment and systems to ensure smooth operations and minimal downtime at the Decaturville, TN location. We are looking for an individual who is proactive and reliable that is focused on maintaining the safety, functionality and productivity of the facility.

Requirements

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Perform inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to ensure optimal operation.
  • Respond to emergency repair requests promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions to production schedules.
  • Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment as required.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment in accordance with established schedules and procedures.
  • Building and yard repairs and maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental regulations, maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies, and order parts as necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU HAVE:

  • 3-8 years' experience in maintenance, preferably in manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial setting.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Familiarity with industrial equipment such as forklifts, compressors, HVAC, and other warehouse machinery.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools, with knowledge of basic welding, carpentry, electrical and plumbing.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset for continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • You are physically fit, energetic and self-motivated.
  • You have the ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
  • You have a "safety first" mindset and understand the importance of upholding safety standards.
  • You are comfortable using computers and can navigate systems efficiently.
  • You have experience with continuous improvement initiatives (Lean/Kaizen) and manufacturing concepts.
  • You are legally able to work in the USA.
