Job Description

Overview The Maintenance Technician at Farbman Group is responsible for performing general maintenance and repair tasks to maintain the safety, comfort, and functionality of our properties.

Key Responsibilities

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete work orders efficiently
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural issues
Assist with preparing units for new occupants, including cleaning and repairs
Maintain cleanliness and safety of common areas and grounds
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards and local regulations
Participate in on-call rotation for emergency maintenance services

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade certifications preferred
2-5 years of maintenance experience in residential or commercial properties
Proficient knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general repairs
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Basic computer literacy for work order and maintenance tracking systems
