Maintenance Technician

Banyan Living is a dynamic and growing company that specializes in the ownership and operation of luxury apartment homes in the greater Cleveland and Columbus metropolitan areas. We are currently searching for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team.

As a Maintenance Technician at Banyan Living, you will be responsible for ensuring that our apartment communities are maintained to the highest standards. You will perform a variety of maintenance tasks including repairs, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance to maintain a safe and enjoyable living environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of property and facilities.
• Respond to maintenance requests from residents in a timely manner.
• Perform routine and emergency repairs including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Assist in preparing units for new residents and ensuring they meet company standards.
• Keep maintenance logs and inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
• Maintain grounds and assist with landscaping as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks as required.
