Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and help maintain the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of our residential properties. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks, responding promptly to resident requests, and ensuring that our properties are well-maintained. Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance servicing.
• Respond to maintenance requests from residents in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform property inspections and preventative maintenance to avoid potential issues.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors as needed for specialized repairs.
• Maintain maintenance logs, inventories, and comply with safety standards.
• Assist in unit turnovers including patching, painting, and cleaning.
• Participate in emergency on-call rotation and address urgent repairs.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in maintenance-related fields is a plus.
• At least 2 years of maintenance technician experience, preferably in residential property management.
• Proficiency with tools and general repair skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliances.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, and climbing ladders.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
