Maintenance Technician - HVAC

Banyan Living is a leader in the ownership and management of luxury apartment homes across the greater Cleveland and Columbus metropolitan areas. We are currently seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician with HVAC certification to join our dedicated team.

In this key role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of HVAC systems, as well as performing a variety of other maintenance tasks to ensure the comfort and satisfaction of our residents. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, appliances, and other mechanical equipment.
• Respond to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist in preparing vacant units for new residents.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Document all maintenance activities and communicate effectively with property management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• HVAC certification is required.
• 1-3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a residential setting.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for HVAC and other mechanical systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a customer-service-oriented mindset.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
• Willingness to be on-call for emergency maintenance requests.
