Overview

We are looking for a dynamic Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team in a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment. In this critical role, you will ensure the safe upkeep, repair, and replacement of plant assets while driving continuous improvements in operational efficiency and production quality. Given that machine uptime is essential to our success, your hands-on expertise and leadership will be key. Relocation is available for the right candidate, and our pay and benefits are best in class.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning:
  • Develop and execute both short- and long-term maintenance strategies that align with our company values and drive operational efficiency.
  • Safety Leadership:
  • Set safety goals and create actionable plans to maintain a secure work environment within the Maintenance Department.
  • Maintenance Program Development:
  • Design and implement a comprehensive Plant Maintenance Program based on industry best practices to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.
  • Team Oversight:
  • Supervise, inspect, and guide maintenance work to ensure the use of current technologies and optimal maintenance practices.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure adherence to all corporate, state, and federal safety, health, and environmental policies and regulations.
  • Performance Monitoring:
  • Manage and analyze maintenance department KPIs to evaluate operating efficiency and identify opportunities for performance improvement.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Education:
  • Minimum of a 2-year technical degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Experience:
  • Over 10 years of maintenance experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing setting, with specific experience in corrugated packaging.
  • Leadership:
  • Proven ability to lead a team with a strong commitment to safety and high work standards.
  • Problem-Solving:
  • Excellent skills in troubleshooting and root cause analysis to implement preventative measures.
  • Budget & Planning:
  • Experience with budget management and strategic planning.
  • Operational Flexibility:
  • Must be able to work in a 24/7 operational environment.
  • Communication:
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Coaching:
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop talent, fostering a high-performing, safety-conscious team.
