Job Description:

This role will be based at a 250-person international food additives manufacturing facility whose parent company operates multiple US and overseas plants. This person will be part of the site engineering team (which includes process and project engineers) and will lead the mechanical integrity program. Specifically, this person will serve as the site engineer for tank and pressure relief valve inspections and complete design through installation of projects of up to a million dollars on projects related to either repair or replacement fixed equipment. This company has an excellent relocation policy as well, providing for moving costs, the costs of breaking a lease or selling and home, and a house-hunting trip to the area.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering with 3+ years of post-college, industry experience, with 5+ being ideal.
• Candidates could be a Maintenance/Reliability Engineer, a Plant Engineer, or a Process Engineer out of foods, chemicals or any manufacturing site.
• Must have some experience with plant storage tanks and their safety properties, as well as knowledge of NFPA codes.
• Pluses would be design through installation of projects and having worked with a variety of valves and piping, combustible dust experience, and knowledge of as many of the following codes as possible including API (510, 570, 653), as well as ASME codes.
