Litigation Attorney

Direct Counsel is currently seeking a talented and highly motivated attorney to join a dynamic litigation team. As a Litigation Attorney at you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of cases and gain valuable experience in various areas of law. Firm's practice areas include: employment law, product liability, premises liability, construction defect, public entity formation

Responsibilities:

• Handling all aspects of the litigation process, including case investigation, pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Conducting legal research and drafting legal documents such as briefs, motions, and memoranda.
• Communicating and negotiating with opposing counsel, clients, and other parties involved in the litigation process.
• Representing clients in court appearances and at mediation or settlement conferences.
• Building and maintaining client relationships.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in the state where the position is located.
• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent research and analytical skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple cases and deadlines.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
