Our multidisciplinary team seeks a litigator with 3 to 5 4 years of experience to join any of our Florida offices (Tampa (Jacksonville, Tampa, or Fort Lauderdale). Experience in financial services litigation, commercial litigation, creditor?s rights, or insurance defense is a plus. In this role, you will assist our team in representing clients in commercial litigation in state, federal, and appellate actions. This is an excellent opportunity for an associate to hone in on his or her litigation skills in a culture that values collaboration and hard work. Candidates must be licensed in Florida and that license must be active and in good standing.

Requirements

Requirements of the position:

• 3 to 5 4 years of litigation experience (Financial services litigation, commercial litigation, creditor?s rights, or insurance defense experience is a plus for this role);
• A current license to practice law in the state of Florida, must be active and in good standing;
• Experience drafting complaints, answers, motions, and other pleadings;
• Experience participating in the development of a strategy for written and deposition discovery;
• Ability to distill research into meaningful and persuasive written work product and to work meticulously to ensure the quality of work product; and
• Federal court experience is a plus.
