Litigation Attorney- Insurance Defense

Our vibrant Miami office seeks a talented

Role Overview:

The Miami office of Kubicki Draper is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2+ years of civil or commercial litigation experience, preferred. Background experience?prior insurance defense is required. Experience in premise liability, construction, insurance defense and other complex litigation premises liability is highly desired. Hospitality and retail background a plus.plus.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Draft/review and respond to substantive pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Attend/chair hearings, depositions, mediations, and meetings with clients, as well as negotiate settlements
• Assist with trial preparation and/or attend trial.

• Must be competent & proficient in the use of Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint & Excel
• Communicate in a highly effective manner with team members and clients
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment

What You Bring:

• Previous experience in civil and commercial litigation is preferred
• Strong skills litigation, particularly in legal research, writing, and persuasive oral advocacy
• An intrinsic client-first approach, ensuring impeccable service
• Previous experience in insurance defense is an asset, though not mandatory.
• A hunger for growth, a customer-first mindset, and impeccable organizational skills
• Member the areas of Insurance Defense strongly perferred
• Licensed member of the Florida Bar and in good standing, required
