Job Description
Dinsmore & Shohl LLP, a prominent national law firm with over 750 attorneys in 30 cities, seeks an attorney with 3-6 years of significant insurance coverage litigation experience to join its growing Houston office. The ideal candidate will have experience analyzing insurance coverage, preparing coverage opinions in all phases of commercial and litigating first and third party claims concerning multiple lines of coverage and bad faith claims. The candidate will have litigation experience, contract disputes, including pre-litigation analysis, drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, attending court conferences, and drafting and arguing motions. Strong research and writing skills and excellent academic credentials are required.trial preparation. Consideration is also given to candidates with experience in real estate, construction and/or financial services. Candidates must demonstrate excellent analytical and writing skills and academic achievement. Candidates with deposition and trial experience are preferred, but it is not essential.
