About Thyme is an exciting new Lebanese street bakery opening soon in Harvard Square, committed to reviving fast-casual dining with a focus on simple, real food made exceptionally well. Our menu centers around authentic Saj sandwiches, creamy labneh, fresh coffee, and vibrant matcha, all prepared using a traditional saj oven and the finest ingredients without unnecessary additions. As we grow, we are looking for a passionate and skilled Line Cook to join our friendly team and help us deliver an outstanding culinary experience to our customers. • Prepare and cook menu items according to About Thyme's recipes and quality standards
• Operate the saj oven and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cooking station at all times
• Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored to maintain quality
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
• Assist with inventory management and communicate supply needs
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines strictly to guarantee customer safety

• Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred
• Knowledge of Middle Eastern cuisine, specifically Lebanese dishes, is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality food
• Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings
• Understanding of food safety practices and hygiene standards
