Licensed Aesthetician

CDR Health Care Inc., is seeking a Licensed Esthetician within the state of Florida in the Tallahassee area. This role will cater to the client's needs and wants and aid in selecting appropriate esthetic services. The Esthetician will provide a variety of services, procedures, products, and consultations to help improve and maintain the appearance and health of the client's or patient's skin.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Ensure a warm and welcoming environment for clients
• Consult and make informed recommendations of services
• Provide proper execution of esthetic services
• Design and prescribe progressive treatment plans based on the client's skincare goals
• Assess and advise clients on suitable treatments offered at our clinic
• Adhere to appointments to ensure treatments start and end on time
• Delivers skin care treatments and provides consultations with makeup applications and purchases.
• Performs procedures such as skin evaluation, facial massages, and hair removal.
• Supports dermatologists and plastic surgeons on patients preoperative and postoperative exams.
• Maintain knowledge to promote and sell services
• Proficient in performing facials, micro-needling, laser treatments, body contouring, and fibroblast.
• Ensure a professional clean work environment; including prepping the treatment room in between patients
• Utilize electronic medical record system
• Abide by OSHA, HIPAA, and other relevant medical office regulations.

OTHER PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

• Current knowledge of aesthetic technologies and industry trends
• Maintain license through ongoing Continuing Education credits as required
• Must be willing to learn new products, services, and treatment plans as the company grows
• Highly polished and professional appearance
• Regularly participate in marketing and social media content
• Other duties that may arise from time-to-time and/or are commensurate with the title and position.

Requirements

• State license to practice as an esthetician in the state of Florida in good standing
• One (1) or more years of experience working at a medical spa, plastic surgery, or dermatology office
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially with a diverse range of audiences and settings.
• The ability to handle multiple tasks while working in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Ability to deal with high pressure situations
• Demonstrates the technical safety expertise and passion for the role
• Strong relationship building and influencing skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 40 pounds
• Attentive to detail & highly motivated to succeed
