Job Description

Bremer Whyte Brown & O'Meara, LLP is seeking a talented Legal Secretary to join our award-winning team in our Las Vegas office. We are a reputable and forward-thinking mid-sized law firm, recognized for our sixth consecutive year as a Best Law Firm? by U.S. News & World Report's Best Lawyers?. As a Legal Secretary, you will have an essential role in supporting our attorneys and clients and contributing to our continued success.

Responsibilities

Draft and format legal documents, correspondence, and briefs
Maintain attorney calendars, including scheduling appointments and calendaring deadlines
Handle correspondence with clients and attorneys
File legal documents timely and accurately with Nevada courts using e-filing procedures
Proofread documents to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to filing or distribution
Assist with miscellaneous administrative duties

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of recent litigation secretarial experience required. Insurance Defense, Civil Litigation, or Personal Injury background preferred
Knowledge of Nevada court filing/e-filing procedures
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat
Sharp attention to detail with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated, reliable team player with a professional yet outgoing personality
