Lead UX Designer

Koru UX Design is a leading UX design agency specializing in HealthTech. We partner with clients to deliver user-centered design solutions that drive innovation and enhance user experiences. Our design teams work as anintegrated extension of our clients' teams, deeply embedding ourselves into their processes to create seamless, impactful products.

We are looking for a Lead UX Designer to drive high-value UX initiatives for our clients while strengthening design execution and strategy . You will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional design work , leading UX engagements, and partnering with stakeholders to align UX efforts with business outcomes.

Beyond client work, you will help improve internal processes, mentor designers, and contribute to hiring and presales .

Requirements

• Own and lead UX projects, ensuring the team delivers impactful solutions aligned with business and user goals.
• Define UX strategy and execution plans, guiding the team on approach, workflows, and best practices.
• Work closely with product managers, engineers, and client stakeholders to align UX efforts with product objectives.
• Balance mentorship and execution, reviewing and elevating team deliverables while owning key UX outputs
• Ensure UX design improves product adoption, efficiency, and user satisfaction, with a focus on measurable business impact.
• Communicate and present design strategies and solutions effectively to both clients and internal teams.

• Coach and mentor designers, ensuring growth in their skills and strategic thinking.
• Enhance UX workflows, design reviews, and quality control processes to improve efficiency and output.
• Support hiring and onboarding of new designers.
• Contribute to presales efforts, helping shape UX proposals and strategy discussions with potential clients.

• 8+ years of experience in UX design, with at least 2 years in leading and managing UX teams, preferably within an agency or service-based business.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your UX design work, including projects where you have led teams or managed client accounts.
• Must have experience in B2B products and enterprise applications. Experience in the HealthTech industry is a plus.

• Leadership & Team Growth Proven ability to lead, mentor, and elevate design teams to deliver their best work.
• Client & Stakeholder Management Experienced in managing client expectations, aligning UX solutions with business goals, and influencing product direction.
• Project Execution & Process Management Strong organizational skills to handle multiple projects, ensuring seamless collaboration across UX, development, and product teams.
• UX Expertise & Technical Knowledge Proficient in UX methodologies, research, prototyping, and usability testing, with a solid understanding of product development.
• Effective Communication Strong ability to present, advocate, and articulate UX value to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Bachelor's Degree
