Lead/Senior PCB Engineer

We are looking for a Lead/Senior PCB Design who will drive the PCB design of our next-generation products. As the PCB design owner, you will oversee all electronic boards for Battery Management Systems (BMS), Motor Control Units (MCU), chargers, and other key EV PCBA applications. This role will be based out of our R&D facility in Bangalore.

Responsibilities:

• Design and layout complex printed circuit boards, ensuring adherence to industry standards for high-speed, digital, analog mixed-signal, and high-power applications.
• Collaborate effectively with electronic, mechanical, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams (CFT) to ensure seamless integration of designs.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive ECAD documentation packages, including Bill of Materials (BOM), schematics, layouts, assembly files, fabrication files, and release documentation.
• Follow best practices in PCB design processes to ensure high-quality outputs.
• Serve as a key liaison between prototype development and mass production PCB processes, addressing technical queries as they arise.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering their professional development.

Requirements

• BSc/Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree in Electronics.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in electronic product design, with at least 5 complex PCBA executions from concept to production.
• Excellent understanding of ECAD design tools, specifically Altium.
• In-depth knowledge of PCB design requiring differential pairs, high speed, controlled impedance, and high power.
• Strong understanding of PCB design considerations for EMI/EMC, Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Testability (DFT), thermal management, and safety.
• Experience with processor and BGA-based designs.
• Comprehensive understanding of IPC standards.
• Proficient knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a highly dynamic environment.
