Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, plan, and execute DevOps/SRE projects throughout the SDLC.
- Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Build, maintain, and collaborate on CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes deployments for zero downtime deployments.
- Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions.
- Assess current systems and processes, and develop ways to improve them.
- Secure systems against cyber threats and develop disaster recovery plans.
- Manage the organization's hardware, software, and networking components.
- Clearly communicate technical concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
- Directly manage and mentor a Junior DevOps engineer.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has 8+ years of experience in DevOps and SRE roles.
- Possesses strong proficiency in GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD tools, and IaC.
- Is a monitoring and alerting expert with strong incident response skills.
- Has experience with time series metrics tools like Graphite and data visualization tools like Tableau, Grafana, or Kibana.
- Has experience with log aggregation and exploration using the ELK stack.
- Understands email deliverability with PowerMTA.
- Can code in a language like PHP, Node.js, or Python.
- Can provide references and consent to a background check.
Bonus Points for:
- Experience with RDBMS like MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- Cloud budget projection and cost reporting skills.
- Cloud platform or DevOps certifications.
