Laundry Attendant

We're looking for an enthusiastic customer-focused Laundry Attendant who enjoys getting down and dirty with their work, while helping out customers in need. You can take care of everything from changing dryer lint to mopping floors; even dusting off those old machines that are clanking away on each side! If this sounds like something you enjoy doing then we want your help at our facility near Des Moines Iowa--we have 9 locations throughout metropolitan area so there is definitely one close by (or many)!

The ideal candidate will work with our team to provide excellent customer service by tracking maintenance and repairs of the facility's laundromat equipment, ensuring that it remains clean at all times, and all machines are in-order. They are also responsible for anticipating any questions or concerns customers may have while serving them their laundry needs in a friendly manner!

Responsibilities

• Track maintenance and repairs on laundering equipment
• Ensure that the facility remains clean at all times
• Anticipate and respond to customers' queries, concerns and complaints
• Folding laundry
• Keep an updated inventory of laundry detergents, and cleaning supplies
• Test machines when marked out of order and do light troubleshooting to ensure all machines are in order

Requirements

• Weekend availability is required
• Proven work experience as a Laundry Attendant or similar role
• .The ability to solve problems and minor issues with machines (training is provided as long as you are willing to learn)
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Treats others the way they would want to be treated
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents and laundering equipment
• Reliable vehicle and a driver's license.
• Punctual and show up to your shifts on time..
