Job Description

Become a vital part of our team as a Laboratory Support Technician!

Lynx Therapeutics is looking for a diligent Laboratory Support Technician to assist with various laboratory functions, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality results. In this role, you will provide key support to laboratory staff, including preparing samples, maintaining lab equipment, and performing routine cleaning duties.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of laboratory samples and reagents as needed for various experiments.
Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
Perform cleaning and sterilization of laboratory instruments and work areas to maintain a safe and organized environment.
Support the accurate documentation and labeling of samples to ensure traceability.
Collaborate with scientists and researchers to facilitate the flow of work and information within the lab.
Participate in inventory management, including ordering and restocking of supplies and reagents.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Associate's degree in a relevant field (Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry, etc.) or equivalent experience in a laboratory setting.
1-2 years of experience in a laboratory environment is preferred.
Familiarity with laboratory techniques and equipment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols accurately.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented atmosphere.
Proficient in using basic computer applications and laboratory management software.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently while maintaining high standards in quality of work.
