Quarles is seeking an experienced Labor & Employment attorney to join our Chambers-ranked Labor & Employment practice group in the San Diego office. Quarles? San Diego office opened in 2023 by combining with the premier management-side labor and employment law firm Paul, Plevin, Sullivan & Connaughton LLP. The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of seven years of experience in labor and employment law, with a strong background in advising California employers and handling traditional labor matters. While we prefer candidates with expertise in both employment counseling and traditional labor, we welcome applications from individuals with substantial experience in either area. We offer flexibility in this role and are open to considering candidates interested in full-time, part-time, partner-track or non-partner-track opportunities.

Benefit eligibility is dependent on hours. Compensation is determined upon the market in which the position is located, the responsibilities of the position, the experience, education, and skills of the applicant, including book of business for more experienced roles, and other job-related factors. The range for associates physically located in San Diego is $175,000 to $250,000 per year.
