Lab technician I

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a Lab Technician I to join their team. As a Lab Technician I, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting the laboratory team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and effective communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Lab Technician I

Location: 100% Onsite - 3001 Channahan Road, Joliet, IL 60436

What's the Job?

Perform repetitive, basic laboratory testing on multiple types of products produced at the plant.

Conduct basic laboratory testing on incoming raw materials.

Report testing results accurately in the SAP electronic database.

Maintain a clean and orderly working environment, ensuring basic upkeep of both working areas and laboratory equipment.

Safely collect samples for testing outside of the laboratory when necessary.

What's Needed?

A minimum of an associate degree in a related field (e.g., chemistry, biology, etc.).

Laboratory experience (coursework or occupational).

Basic Wet Chemistry skills.

Some familiarity with basic lab equipment.

0-2 years of experience required.
