Lab technician I

Our client, a leader in the scientific industry, is seeking a Lab Technician I to join their team. As a Lab Technician I, you will be part of the laboratory team supporting multiple divisions. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Lab Technician I

Location: 100% Onsite - 655 Lone Oak Drive, Eagan, MN 55121

What's the Job?

Providing routine lab analysis and technical support to the Sales and Service organization.

Cross-training to develop the capability to support all types of analysis required by the lab.

Utilizing the LIMS system for lab sample tracking and reporting.

Providing clear and accurate data summaries and analysis.

Completing special project assignments to improve our knowledge base or upgrade the lab infrastructure.

What's Needed?

An Associate degree or partial completion of a BS/BA in Chemistry, Biology, Food Science or a related scientific field.

1+ year work experience in a laboratory.

Basic understanding of chemistry, chemical safety and handling, and fundamental laboratory techniques.

Proficient understanding of Microsoft Suite software including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Self-motivated, able to work proactively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
