Lab Coordinator

Lynx Therapeutics is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Lab Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of our laboratory. The Lab Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring that laboratory activities run smoothly, maintaining high standards of quality and safety while supporting research activities. This position will involve coordinating lab resources, managing schedules, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily lab operations and assist in the scheduling of experiments and resource allocation.
• Maintain and manage inventory of lab supplies, reagents, and equipment, ensuring all materials are available for research activities.
• Ensure that all laboratory procedures follow safety protocols and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the training of new lab personnel and provide ongoing support to ensure adherence to best practices.
• Monitor lab performance metrics and assist in troubleshooting any operational issues.
• Prepare laboratory reports and documentation of protocols in compliance with organizational policies.
• Collaborate with researchers and other departments to facilitate efficient workflow and communication.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Biology, Chemistry, or Laboratory Science.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a laboratory environment, preferably in a coordination role.
• Strong understanding of laboratory safety procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in using laboratory management software and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with laboratory staff and researchers.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
