The Junior Collision Repair Estimator will work closely with our experienced estimators and management team to help prepare accurate and thorough repair estimates for customers. You will assist in reviewing vehicle damage, writing repair orders, and ensuring that all necessary repairs are accounted for while delivering top-tier customer service.

This position is perfect for a Customer Service Representative (CSR) or someone with some experience in CCC estimating, who is looking to advance their career in the automotive repair industry. Responsibilities:

Estimate Creation: Assist in preparing accurate, detailed repair estimates using CCC ONE software, ensuring all vehicle damage and required repairs are included.

Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers to gather relevant information about the damage, answer questions, and update them on the status of their repair estimates.

Collaboration: Work closely with collision repair technicians, management, and parts personnel to ensure all aspects of the repair are accurately captured and priced.

Documentation & Reporting: Ensure that all estimates and repair orders are properly documented and submitted in a timely manner. Maintain accurate records of repairs and customer interactions.

Parts & Labor Management: Collaborate with the team to verify parts availability and labor requirements, ensuring timely and accurate repairs.

Customer Service Excellence: Provide a high level of customer service by being a trusted point of contact for customers during the estimating process. Handle any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.

Preferred Qualifications:

Some experience with CCC ONE or other estimating software.

Familiarity with the automotive repair process and terminology.

A passion for the auto repair industry and luxury/exotic vehicles.

Requirements

Experience: Experience as a Customer Service Representative (CSR) in the automotive industry, or a basic understanding of collision repair estimating through CCC ONE (preferred, but not required).

Training Will Be Provided: A passion for learning and developing estimating skills. Universal Motorcars is willing to train you and provide you with the tools needed to succeed.

Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to assess vehicle damage and write thorough and accurate estimates.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
