This position is responsible for supporting daily accounting operations and participating in monthly closing activities. The ideal candidate should possess strong practical accounting skills and demonstrate high proficiency in handling high-volume data entry with accuracy and efficiency. Essential Functions: 1.??? Perform AR/AP functions and demonstrate strong data entry skills by accurately processing large volumes of accounting transactions 2.??? Manage payment processing via online banking and checks 3.??? Vendor and customer adds, changes, and deletes with help 4.??? Conduct daily and monthly bank reconciliations 5.??? Prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations for monthly closing 6.??? Maintain and update fixed asset records, including tagging and condition checks 7.??? Provide support with various tax activities, such as filing sales taxes 8.??? Support the preparation of financial statements and variance analysis 9.??? Contribute to the development and documentation of internal control procedures 10. Keep the management informed of issues and activities related to accounting systems. 11. Nurture a work culture that promotes open, frequent, and dynamic communication among staff, stimulating teamwork to accomplish desired goals and objectives 12. Additional functions like admin tasks may be assigned by the upper management if needed Requirements Required Education and Experience: 1.??? Bachelor's degree in Accounting, and 0?3 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience 2.??? Experience using accounting systems 3.??? Skilled in accurate, efficient high-volume data entry 4.??? Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Education and Experience: Experience with Oracle EnterpriseOne or SAP is highly desirable.

Knowledge & Skills: 1.??? Familiarity with any Accounting Software 2.??? Knowledge of general accounting concepts 3.??? Strong data entry skills with high volume processing capability 4.??? Precise handling of financial records and transactions 5.??? Journal Entries, Accruals, Month-end & Year-end close, Fixed Assets, and Various other financial reporting 6.??? Proficiency in Microsoft office (Outlook, MS Word, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint) 7.??? Excellent organization & time management skills 8.??? Reliable to complete tasks by a target date and maintain a professional work ethic & demeanor in all interactions 9.??? Knowledge of IFRS, internal control, SOP and sales tax is a plus
