Job Summary:

With limited supervision, provides system operational support ensuring the effectiveness, efficiency, accuracy, and availability of IT resources and systems for end users with opportunities for coaching and developing less experienced IT Support Associates. Must work collaboratively with others.

Key Responsibilities:

Performs IT production support for assigned area(s) according to documented processes. Creates and maintains process documentation and standards. Diagnoses and problem solves issues with IT hardware or software components with limited direction. Requires the ability to install, configure, or disposition IT hardware and/or application issues. Troubleshoots assigned issues per department standards to resolution. Uses Incident Management system to manage reported issues or requests submitted by end users and log any actions or support provided. Has reporting responsibility within the system. Trains less experienced associates on IT support processes and tools. Assists with additional IT responsibilities as assigned. Encourages root cause analysis using the formal problem solving approach for recurring issues.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

High school diploma, certificate of completion of secondary education, or equivalent experience (to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations) required. Associate Degree, relevant industry training, certification or equivalent experience preferred. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Key responsibilities:

Work with site supervisors and business users to support & maintain existing IT infrastructure like PCs, Peripherals, OA Equipment installation, setup and troubleshooting

IT Asset / Inventory Verifications and Management

Work with site supervisors and business users to execute manufacturing IT projects & fulfil business IT requirements

Responsible for timely & effective fulfilment of business IT infrastructure requirements

Responsible for requirement gathering/analysis & execution of IT network requirements, cabling installations.

Responsible for Communication / Liaison with government agencies

Responsible for office IT equipment uptime

Coordinate and partner with various IT support groups on issue resolution

Track progress of various tasks, projects and issues and provide updates to stakeholders on a regular basis

Responsible for IT material receipt, stores management, supervision of contract jobs

Required Qualification:

6 to 7 years of professional experience (preferably with a manufacturing company) in IT

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Information Technology,

Advanced experience in Manufacturing IT support system for applications, Infrastructure & networking

Expert in problem solving, manufacturing IT project execution

Good understanding of manufacturing IT system such as MES, SCADA, Database

Good communication skills to manage business stakeholders
