We are looking for an IT Monitoring Analyst to join our team at Chennai Office, in Hybrid working model. You will have overall responsibility for configuration control architecture and software management tools, including but not limited to the knowledge, configuration, and deployment of application whitelisting software tools, and server configuration control software.

Responsibilities will include:

Main Purpose: Monitoring ACOLAD's IT Applications & infrastructure.

• Monitoring Tools & Alerts: Regularly monitor IT dashboards (e.g., Grafana, Datadog, Prometheus) for alerts and system health.
• Alert Validation & Troubleshooting: Analyze alerts, differentiate between real issues and false positives, and take necessary action.
• Incident Detection & Management: Identify potential incidents not reflected in the dashboard and proactively address them.
• Ticketing & Issue Tracking: Log all incidents in a ticketing system (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, Remedy) and ensure proper categorization.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with HelpDesk, IT, DevOps, and Operations teams to minimize downtime and resolve incidents swiftly.
• Change Management Participation: Adapt monitoring strategies during IT changes to ensure system stability and detect potential issues.
• User Access & Authentication: Handle first-level IT support related to Microsoft Active Directory and authentication issues.
• Automation & Process Optimization: Contribute to automating monitoring and incident response tasks for efficiency.
• ITIL & Compliance Practices: Follow ITIL best practices for incident and change management while ensuring adherence to security policies.
• Documentation & Training: Maintain updated documentation of monitoring processes and participate in relevant IT training or certifications.

Requirements

• Excellent English language skills, spoken and written, experience in supporting international companies.
• Bachelor's degree in the relevant field
• IT literate and enthusiast
• Autonomous as well as a good team player.
• IT Monitoring and incident management
• ITIL best practices
• Communication & documentation
• Showing a proactive and service-oriented attitude
• 24x7 rota availability.
• Should be located in Chennai or willing to relocate to Chennai.
• 1-2 years' experience in a similar field.
