Essel is looking for a knowledgeable and dedicated Irrigation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining irrigation systems for various landscapes, including residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have expertise in irrigation technology, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to sustainability.
This role would require you to travel to different sites throughout the week to perform irrigation labor duties.
Our client will look to provide a company vehicle for use. We would require for your to have a valid driver license and a clean driving record.
Irrigation Specialist
Santa Rosa, CA
Full time: 630am - 3pm
$26 - 32/ hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement efficient irrigation systems based on site assessments and client needs.
- Install and maintain irrigation systems including drip lines, spray heads, and controllers.
- Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting to ensure the optimal performance of irrigation systems.
- Advise clients on water-saving techniques and sustainable landscaping practices.
- Maintain accurate records of irrigation system maintenance and repairs.
- Basic landscaping duties; watering and planting.
- Collaborate with landscape teams to integrate irrigation systems into overall landscape designs.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations while performing work.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Irrigation Specialist or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, components, and water management practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Physical ability to perform tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy materials.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CERTIFIED IRRIGATION DESIGNER (CID) or related certification.
- Experience with smart irrigation technologies and controllers.
- Knowledge of local irrigation regulations and water conservation practices.
