Spartech, LLC is looking for an Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Crawfordsville, IN. The Crawfordsville operation of the organization specializes in extruding and converting flat plastic sheet. The flat plastic sheet can then be converted into different products. It may have graphics added, then die cut into license plates, the "lamp shade" dogs need to wear after a visit to the veterinary clinic, signage, file folders, 3-ring binders, covers for school date books, packaging, for example. We reuse our scrap plastic whenever possible to create our environmentally friendly products.

Key Responsibilities to include:

• Work with plant to ensure Production jobs transacted accurately and resolve any issues.
• Close Production jobs/batches in ERP system daily/weekly.
• Correct any exporting errors that occur when Shopvue interfaces with Microsoft Navision.
• Maintain accurate inventory costing.
• Manage Inventory cycle counts with warehouse and post inventory adjustments.
• Update Daily resin reporting.
• Calculate Sales/Transfer pricing for intercompany invoices to transfer at cost.
• Month end Inventory closing, reporting, and posting of final inventory.
• Provide support for ad hoc assignments from plant and business team.

Requirements

Required Skills/Experience:

• Ability to analyze production order data for reasonableness/accuracy, and work with plant to resolve any issues.
• Prior experience in manufacturing and/or knowledge of inventory concepts, practices and procedures within a manufacturing environment.
• Learning agility / comfortable in a fast-paced and highly flexible environment.
• Strong organizer who can handle interruption while keeping eyes on target.

Desired Skills/Experience:

• 3-5 Years experience with Inventory Processes in a manufacturing environment.
• ERP experience preferably with Microsoft NAVISION or Jet reports.
• Strong Excel (model development, Pivot Tables, function/formula understanding).
• Strong analytical mind-set.
