Internal Audit/Controls Analyst

LGI Homes is seeking an Internal Controls Analyst at our Corporate Headquarters in The Woodlands, Texas.

The Internal Controls Analyst will serve a pivotal role in the completion of the Internal Controls' Plan for assigned process cycles and tasks. This role will be responsible for supporting and testing the Internal Controls Framework for LGI Homes.

The Internal Controls Analyst will manage projects in accordance with the Internal Controls' Plan, including but not limited to internal controls testing, third-party controls assessment, and data management within the internal controls platform. This role will assist with the analysis of findings and determination of sufficient controls coverage within the LGI's controls framework.

Requirements

A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance and 2 years of experience in external or internal audit is highly preferred. Experience Workiva, SQL and accounting systems is preferred. The Analyst must have strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills, with vigorous attention to detail. The ability to prioritize workload, work effectively on concurrent tasks, and be able to meet deadlines is key.
