Phelps Dunbar is seeking an attorney for the Insurance mid-level insurance coverage associates to join its third-party insurance practice group team to handle litigation involving all lines of third-party coverage and advocacy. These positions involve filing and defending lawsuits to include all aspects of lawsuit management: attending depositions, court appearances, mediations and trials. For those who would prefer no involvement in its Houston, TX office. litigation, we also seek a mid-level associate who can find a home at Phelps in an advisory role that supports our domestic and London clients with policy interpretation, conducting legal research, preparing coverage position letters and opinions, involvement in policy wording proposals, and advising on risk transfer. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 the following qualifications: Three to five years of experience handling 1st party and/ or 3rd party Texas insurance coverage matters with deposition, hearing, and trial experience highly preferred.
