Farmers Insurance District 33 is seeking enthusiastic, sales-driven, and entrepreneurial individuals to join our team! No previous insurance experience is necessary. We provide cutting-edge training and support at our District Office, located in the vibrant Downtown PDX. We have opportunities available throughout the Portland Metro Area for both newcomers and seasoned professionals to become an Insurance Agent or to expand their existing Farmers Insurance Agency.

At Farmers Insurance, we offer several career pathways:

Prot?g? Agent: This program is designed for individuals new to the industry, featuring a 12-month developmental plan aimed at helping you become a successful agent. You will collaborate with a Mentor Agent and receive training to position you and your business for success. There are no financial investments required, and you will earn a base salary plus commissions throughout the program.

Agency Ownership: If you are prepared to manage your own business, you will receive training and ongoing support from your peers and the District Team, as well as generous bonuses (up to 300% in your first year) and commissions for up to three years. Proof of financial assets is necessary, though this requirement can be waived if you complete the Prot?g? program.

Requirements

• Demonstrated sales experience, ideally within the Insurance or Financial Services sector.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to foster relationships with clients.
• Capacity to swiftly learn and comprehend various insurance products and their coverages.
• Skilled in utilizing computer systems, including CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must hold a valid Insurance License in the State of Oregon, or be open to obtaining one after offer is extended.
• Able to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
• Proven problem-solving capabilities and a focus on achieving results.
