PositionDescription:

Colden is currently seeking an Industrial Hygiene and Safety Specialist with2 to 8years of experience in workplace health and safety.This is a full-time position assigned to Colden's Manchester, NH office. OtherNew England locationswill beconsidered for a hybrid role working in Colden's office(s), at client sites, or from home based on current project assignments and schedules.Colden's Manchester officeis located inthe beautifully restoredWaumbecMill, with Merrimack River views and an on-site caf?.

The successful candidate willwork with a team ofCIHs, CSPs, senior scientists, and otherColdentechnical and regulatoryspecialists to support consulting projects inareassuch asindustrial hygiene (IH),safety, and environmental health and safety (EHS) management.Tasksmay include:

• Conduct IH surveys to assess chemical, physical, and biologicalhazards,such asworkerpersonalbreathing zonesamplingfor airborne contaminantsornoise monitoring.

• Participate in indoor environmental quality investigations or surveys.

• Conduct safety and health assessments, inspections,oraudits invariousclientindustrial and non-industrial settings, such asmanufacturing sites, laboratories,universities, hospitals, museums, media and entertainment productions, offices, and otherwork environments.

• Prepare written reports summarizing site visit observations and results.

• Researchand summarize findings forassigned topics inoccupational and environmental health sciences.Research andaccuratelyreference standards (e.g., OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, ISO).

• Developor update written health and safety procedures and training materials.

• Conduct performance checks of local exhaust ventilation or other controls.

• Support companyin-house industrial hygiene monitoringand safetyequipmentinventory and maintenance.

• Complete other tasks as assignedfor client projects or to support Colden internal technical procedures and guidelines.

Requirements

RequiredQualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (BS), preferably in occupationalhealth andsafety, orinenvironmental healthor public health with industrial hygieneorsafetyfocus(or a science or engineering degree and relevant work experience).

• 2-8years of experience in health and safety roles.

• Familiarity withOSHA regulations and industrial hygieneexposuremonitoringpractices.

• Self-motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented with ability to manage workload independently with support from others.Strongoral and writtencommunication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability and willingness to travelareessential, withfluctuating levels of travel based on project assignment. The rolerequiresapproximately50%traveltolocal New Englandclient sitesand/ortravel tootherU.S. locations.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience conducting safetyand healthaudits, inspections,orinvestigations.

• Skillsin presentingsafety and healthtraining sessionsorcommunicatingaudit findings.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Familiarity with safety and health softwareandtools.

• Professional certification(s),or willingness to achieve.
