POSITION SUMMARY:

Focus Interpreting is seeking a highly skilled In-Person Interpreter for English - Farsi to join our team. As an interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and professional interpretation services to our clients during in-person meetings and events.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Facilitate effective communication between English and Farsi speakers by interpreting spoken words in real-time during face-to-face interactions.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of interpretation by using industry-standard techniques and equipment in in-person settings.
Adhere to confidentiality guidelines and maintain a high level of integrity during all interpretation sessions.
Continuously improve language proficiency and subject matter knowledge to better serve our clients in various fields such as business meetings, medical appointments, and legal settings.

REQUIREMENTS:

Fluency in both English and Farsi, with excellent oral and written communication skills in both languages.
Proven experience as an in-person interpreter, demonstrating the ability to handle complex interpretation situations with professionalism.
Strong understanding of linguistics and cultural differences, enabling effective interpretation in diverse in-person environments.
Ability to maintain composure and clarity in high-pressure in-person interpretation scenarios.
