In-Person Interpreter English - Farsi

POSITION SUMMARY:

Focus Interpreting is seeking a highly skilled In-Person Interpreter for English - Farsi to join our team. As an interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and professional interpretation services to our clients during in-person meetings and events.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Facilitate effective communication between English and Farsi speakers by interpreting spoken words in real-time during face-to-face interactions.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of interpretation by using industry-standard techniques and equipment in in-person settings.
• Adhere to confidentiality guidelines and maintain a high level of integrity during all interpretation sessions.
• Continuously improve language proficiency and subject matter knowledge to better serve our clients in various fields such as business meetings, medical appointments, and legal settings.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Fluency in both English and Farsi, with excellent oral and written communication skills in both languages.
• Proven experience as an in-person interpreter, demonstrating the ability to handle complex interpretation situations with professionalism.
• Strong understanding of linguistics and cultural differences, enabling effective interpretation in diverse in-person environments.
• Ability to maintain composure and clarity in high-pressure in-person interpretation scenarios.
