We are currently seeking an In-House Counsel specializing in contract law to join our team. This is a key role in helping our growing business manage risk, ensure compliance, and support internal teams with clear and strategic legal guidance.

A detail-oriented legal professional who understands the nuances of contract law and thrives in a fast-paced business environment. We need someone that is comfortable collaborating across departments, managing multiple legal projects, and providing clear, concise legal guidance. Responsibilities:

Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of contracts, including vendor agreements, NDAs, employment contracts, and licensing deals.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws, as well as internal policies and procedures.
Provide legal counsel on contract disputes, enforcement, and terminations.
Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders across HR, finance, operations, and executive teams.
Proactively identify legal risks and mitigation strategies.
Maintain contract lifecycle documentation and ensure timely renewals and updates.
Stay current on legal trends and regulatory changes affecting the automotive industry and corporate law

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice in Missouri and Kansas (or ability to obtain Kansas licensure).
2?4 years of experience in contract law, preferably in an in-house or corporate setting.
Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Effective communicator with the ability to advise both legal and non-legal team members.
Experience using legal research tools or contract management software is a plus.
