HVAC Technician

D2B Groups has a client that is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to oversee installation and maintenance projects within the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning sector. In this role, you will lead HVAC projects and ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent leadership qualities, and a commitment to delivering superior service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete HVAC installation and maintenance tasks, ensuring timely completion of projects.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies on the job site.
• Review project blueprints and specifications to determine job requirements and material needs.
• Conduct inspections to ensure proper installation and maintenance of HVAC systems.
• Coordinate with project managers and subcontractors to optimize project workflow.
• Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing HVAC issues, providing solutions in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding project status and any necessary changes.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in HVAC installation and maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• HVAC certification and relevant licenses required.
• HVAC Alberta Journeyman Certificate
