We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to make a meaningful contribution to an organization with a mission that truly matters.

As a key member of our HR team, you will help create a positive employee experience by supporting recruitment, onboarding, benefits, HR administration, and employee engagement initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation
  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee and applicant questions regarding policies, benefits, onboarding, and HR processes
  • Ensure compliance through regular audits of HR files and records
  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department
  • Assist with payroll-related inquiries and processing support
  • Coordinate with benefit providers and external vendors to support employee programs
  • Help facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation programs
  • Support employee engagement events, recognition programs, benefits enrollment activities, holiday celebrations, and organizational meetings
  • Contribute to creating a welcoming and positive workplace culture

Requirements
  • Minimum high school diploma required
  • Associates degree preferred
  • Minimum three (3) years administrative/clerical experience required
  • Minimum one (1) year direct HR experience preferred
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook; experience with Paycom preferred
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion required
