Hospitalist Physician

Delphi Healthcare is seeking a skilled and dedicated Hospitalist Physician to join our dynamic team. Our organization focuses on providing high-quality healthcare solutions in rural hospital in Lowville, NY. As a Hospitalist Physician with Delphi Healthcare, you will be responsible for the comprehensive care of hospitalized patients, ensuring their needs are met with compassion and expertise.

• Manage patient care from admission to discharge, ensuring appropriate treatment and follow-up.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement effective care plans.
• Conduct patient assessments, order tests, and interpret results.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families about conditions and treatment options.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Active medical license in New York State.
• Experience in hospitalist medicine preferred, new graduates welcome
• Strong clinical skills and ability to make critical decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to work 24 hour shifts
