Delphi Healthcare is seeking a skilled and dedicated Hospitalist Physician to join our dynamic team. Our organization focuses on providing high-quality healthcare solutions in rural hospital in Lowville, NY. As a Hospitalist Physician with Delphi Healthcare, you will be responsible for the comprehensive care of hospitalized patients, ensuring their needs are met with compassion and expertise.
Key Responsibilities- Manage patient care from admission to discharge, ensuring appropriate treatment and follow-up.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement effective care plans.
- Conduct patient assessments, order tests, and interpret results.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families about conditions and treatment options.
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Active medical license in New York State.
- Experience in hospitalist medicine preferred, new graduates welcome
- Strong clinical skills and ability to make critical decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Willingness to work 24 hour shifts
